We take reservations only one day in advance. It is hard to estimate when the previous person will come back sometimes. Our equipment is "usually' only gone for one day.
Our rental and demo bikes are generally new each year, and from top name brand manufacturers. We make sure they have good tires, brake pads, grips, etc... We can swap seats to your liking! WE can also provide a repair kit and map upon request FOR FREE!
$10/hr,$30/half day,$50/full day - Front Suspension Mountain Bikes, Comfort Bike Path Bikes, and Beach Cruisers
$15/hr,$45/half day,$75/full day - Modern Full Suspension Mountain Bikes with Hydraulic Disc brakes
$15/hr,$45/half day,$75/full day - Traditional Road Bike with 700c tires (requires advanced notice, email mike@thebackcountry.net)
$10/hr,$30/half day,$50/full day - Kids Bikes with 20 and 24" wheels
$6/hr,$18/half day,$30 full day - Child Trailers - seats two children ages 1 to 6
$6/hr,$18/half day,$30 full day - Trail-A-Bikes for ages 4-8
half day = 4 hours. Full day = open to close (8:30-6pm). If you keep rental bikes overnight there is a one hour fee. We waive the overnight fee for multi-day rentals.
We can rent you a car rack for $15/day. We'll help get it on your car. Honestly, your best bet is to ride from our stores. There are excellent rides for all abilities, both paved and singletrack. Spend more time riding!
