Truckee, CA is right off of I-80. Our store is very close to a huge assortment of world class mountain bike singletrack trails, road bike routes, and bike paths. Right right from our store! We take reservations only one day in advance. It is hard to estimate when the previous person will come back sometimes. Our equipment is "usually' only gone for one day.


4th hour is FREE, maximum 5 hour charge per day! You pay when you come back; no need to declare a rental time span

$10/hour - Front Suspension Mountain Bikes, Comfort Bike Path Bikes, and Beach Cruisers
$15/hour - Modern Full Suspension Mountain Bikes with Hydraulic Disc brakes
$10/hour - Traditional Road Bike with 700c tires (requires advanced notice, email mike@thebackcountry.net)
$10/hour - Kids Bikes with 20 and 24" wheels
$6/hour - Child Trailers - seats two children ages 1 to 6
$6/hour - Trail-A-Bikes for ages 4-8
