I am interested in finding partners to ski some stuff around Saddlebag lakes, maybe North Peak. The only time I can;t go is the weekend of Feb 26/27. I am thinking of camping around the lake, then skiing for a couple of days.

I am on AT gear, can skin at 1200 ft/hour comfortably, and ski reasonably steep terrain (45-50 depending on exposure,ie less steep if exposure is disconcerting)

I also heard that the peaks around Whitney have great coverage, 5-6,000 ft descents from the car.

I'd be interested...but considering that a black diamond run at a resort is about 30-35 degrees, your slope preference is a bit daunting

3 deg? I can handle more than that!

Can you get in to Saddlebag in a day? How much farther would it be to go to the Tuolomne hut?
