We did Coke chute on Saturday, Powerhouse on Sunday. It was really hot over the weekend, but the snow held up well. Good corn both days. No signs of instability. The snowpack looks like it's later than it actually is. Get it while you can! On the plus side, many of the typical big cornices are either much smaller or just not there. Solstice entrance looks doable.

I skied Coke Chute on Thursday, really good snow. I htink we got to the top around 12:30 and skied it at 1.

Also skied the lookers right East facing chute on Gibbs on Friday, good skiing, but the snow on anything but South facing was not consolidated. Needs a few more cold nights and sunny days to corn.

Jim, which way did you guys go up to ski Coke chute? And what did you ski? Not clear from the pics.

skied some of the best and smoothest corn this year yesterday/teus on dana. skied "the other chute" off the summit ridge and powerhouse right to the car. pretty much ideal top to bottom and one of the better runs i've had there. huge contrast to the major shingling we found down south in the buttermilks last week. powerhouse should be good for at least a couple more weeks.

Damn dude, that line was still warm! :) Way to go, that is a sweet line. Glad you got it in better conditions than we found on Sat - the lower part of that line and the top of Powerhouse didn't really soften up.

Rode the rock walled chute off the ne flank of east peak chutes on Sunday.
mid-section had slid like many other chutes in this area and the plateau. everywhere else was really good powder.
