Mike -

Looking to get into the back country in Alaska. I have not alpine skiied for a few years (10) but used to be a very strong skiier. I need some suggestions on a good basic set-up for day trips. Seems like most of the local mtns. will be 1000'-2000' climbs. I won't be doing anything really gnarly but still have pretty high expectations of any gear that I use.

Any help would be appreciated!

dynafit vertical ST bindings and Karhu Storm BC/K2 Coomba. BAM. just buy em and go today. email me a picture of your feet and I'll have an idea of which boots might work best.
