I'm new to Bozeman and am looking for people to backcountry ski with. My would be partner got spooked over the Bee Hive Basin incident and is currently (and understandably) addicted to hiking the ridge at Bridger Bowl.

I am a decent skier, I'm more into it for hiking up something new and getting some fresh air than for skiing a crazy line or pushing my limits. I got started a couple winters ago in Italy and am itching to get out on a regular basis.

I've been through both avy classes offered through MSU/GNFAC and am hoping to find people on the conservative side in terms of avalanche safety. I'd rather turn around and call it a day figuring I got a work out than risk having to dig my partner out of the snow.
