There are so many fantastic singletrack routes inside of the Truckee Triangle (Hwy 267, Hwy 89, and Donner Pass Road. Mt. Watson is the peak in the center, and we can drop you off near the top so you can just hit the best trails with your time and bomb back to our store (or TC, Squaw, or Truckee).
Here's some pictures of a car shuttle assist ride this week in the Backcountry Shuttle Van. We climbed 20 minutes to Waston Peak from the van, dropped off the singletrack at the top to the Tahoe Rim Trail, and took it West over Painted Rock, Missing Link, and Western States to hwy 89. We had our other van there to shuttle back to Truckee. This shuttle isn't neccessary, we've ridden up there without vans countless times. But to fly up into the good zone after work and bang out 2 hours of the best singletrack in Tahoe before dark was pretty killer.
