Sugar bowl to Squaw (Feb 3-6, 2011)

Postby TeleK » Mon Feb 14, 2011 11:19 am

A week late, but the conditions up there were pretty nice considering it hadn't snowed for a week. Here's some pics... went with a buddy of mine (who just started working at your shop) and his bro.

Spent a night a Benson...

Got some pow turns (to our surprise) in Cold, Deep, & Pole Creek...

Met us with these folks at Bradley (where we spent 2 nights)...

They even pulled in a Cornelius Keg!

Here's some Panos...

We lapped this ridge a total of 7 times over 2 days... the N. Side still had some good snow.

Going off kickers in the BC...

So my computer crashed while moving the files from my SD card... and I think some of the files got corrupted? Anyway, having a hell of a time rendering this movie... hopefully I'll have it done soon.

Anyone know if this chute on Snow Mtn has ever been done? Anyone want to partner up and wanna go check it out with me? PM me if you have any info that you are willing to share...

Awesome panos, especially the sunset ones! Well done, that's a lot of work.

Yes I would definitely hit that chute with you, and I don't care how much thrashing it requires. The one Tahoe/Truckee guy I can think of who might know more about that spot would be Daron Huck, if you can track him down.

Thanx guys.

Eric... once the snow stabilizes a bit I'll contact ya.

I'll be sticking to the frontcountry this weekend. But I'll be up for anything during the week next week. PM me if you have any plans, would love to tag along if I can make it happen.

Here's the longer version... I was figuring out the video production, so I made this one too... if you like time lapses, watch this one in HD.

Wow - fantastic pictures! I'm inspired to take the time to get good shots and maybe upgrade my camera. Thanks for posting
