Hey, I was parked on 89 skiing Rubicon Peak today. When I got back the gate of my pickup truck was opened, the cap window was closed, and about $2k worth of gear had been stolen. Apparently this has been happening specifically to pickup trucks w/ caps and ski gear all over Tahoe. I'm sure the stuff is gone, but here is a list in case anyone sees it for sale:

Thanks a lot, that is very generous of you. Some of the gear has already been replaced, but if we have trouble finding some of the other stuff, I may take you up on that. Again, that is a really kind gesture.

In other news, there was a witness. My friend had pulled up behind me to try to catch up w/ us. He never found us and left before we did. A middle aged, dark haired, tall man with spectacles driving a small, red, foreign pickup truck w/a cap on the back was pulled over scoping my car when my friend emerged. He sped off when he saw my friend. Also worth noting that 89 was closed at Em Bay that day. So this guy is relatively North Lake. Keep an eye out. Hope nobody else gets hit.
