Hi, my buddy and i are looking to hire a guide for a backcountry day on friday or saturday of this week. We are both expert skiiers in good physical condition who have alot of heli/cat skiing experience, but have limited randone experience (each of us have been a few times). We are trying to develop our backcountry skills and would feel more comfortable if we could take a "guide" with us if it can be done reasonably. Anyone interested?

Are you talking about avy awareness and skills? If so, I'd be glad to go along and share my knowledge. I'm not a professional guide but have plenty of backcountry experience. I'd be on snowshoes and carrying my board but can keep up with skiers OK...

My friend and i are both interested in doing some spring(maybe even summer with all this snow) hiking. Both are int to adv riders, i have some decent BC experience at the Donner Pk area. We are looking for a group to join, or start for that matter, of BC'ers. If you'd be interested let me know...thanks!
