Hi everyone. looks like these threads aren't very well traveled but I guess I'll try anyway.

I'm a splitboarder from Flagstaff, AZ. I will be in S. Lake Tahoe with a skier friend of mine next week, and I wanted to scope out some of the backcountry trails in the area. I don't know if I'm going to bring the split or not, since we have lift tickets paid for at Heavenly, but if there is something out there that is enticing enough, I'll definitely consider it.

If anyone has any tips or is willing to check out an entry level backcountry spot that is worth seeing, I'll talk my buddy into shoeing up. I was looking at something just to get a taste: Twin Peaks, Grouse Rock, Stanford Rock, or Donner Ridge/Peak.
