I live in Berkeley but we have a house in Truckee. We are up for Xmas/New Year and I would really like to do some skiing during this period. After that I will be up sporadically on weekends, but can come up midweek for the day for good conditions. I have had an AVY 1 course, am in ok physical condition and have a reasonable amount of backcountry experience (hut trips in Colorado, shasta, rainier, haute route) although I have only been out twice in Tahoe, so I am not really familiar with this area.

Lookin' for touring partner(s). Mom gets mad when I go solo. I'm a splitboarder. Modest experience. Solid skill level. Good fitness. Have only done 2 tours in the Tahoe area so I'm not real familiar. I've got a place with friends in Truckee and I'm usually available Friday-Sunday. Sometimes Monday or Thursday too. Just depends on work/travel.

I'm planning on going Friday (Jan30th) and maybe again on Sat/Sun if it's good.
