Here's another great low-angle hike you can take the family on. Fall colors are amazing along Parker Creek. Take a dirt road on the north end of the June Lake Loop Road and park at the Parker Lake trailhead 7775'. Parker Lake is 2 miles away at 8155'. Major peaks surrounding you are Mt. Lewis, Koip Peak, Parker Peak, and the North side of Mount Wood.
