Got out for two awesome days of climbing before winter arrived. First day climbed Cathedral Peak's SE Buttress in Yosemite. This one's called a classic for a reason. What fun. Next hooked up with Eric and Joe for a great day on Bear Creek Spire's NE Ridge. Weather was just perfect both days. T-shirt weather and sunny skies all day. Just ran out of daylight a bit on Bear Creek Spire, but otherwise everything went perfect. More pics here: http://www.tahoebackcountry.net/features/catbcs

You're literary skills are superb. I enjoyed the "dionysian summer" description the best (and know the feeling). Great day that was!
