Our former Tahoe City store at 690 N. Lake Blvd. has reopened as Tahoe City Sushi, serving the highest quality sushi and sashimi. In front of the building is Gear & Grind Cafe, a great place to grab coffee and pastries or a sandwich before or after bike ride or boat trip or ski day. They also feature wireless internet access. Upstairs is Clearwater Day Spa, with some of the best massage, salon, and body work providers in the area.

The Back Country in Truckee opened in 1997. In addition to backcountry skiing, climbing, camping, and cycling gear, we offer the best outdoor clothing from companies like Patagonia, Mammut, Cloudveil, and Marmot. We also have large rental fleet for cycling, skiing and snowboarding. This store has the best selection in Northern Calfifornia for backcountry ski gear, both new and used!
